Unbeatable?

Roger Federer is arguably the greatest tennis player of all time. Will anyone beat him? People have come close, even defeated him with their own strenghts. Rafael Nadal has beat him in three straight years at the French Open and has won almost every other match the two play on clay. But, moving away from clay, Nadal has not come close to beating Federer on hard courts. In fact, no one has. Serb Djokovic came the closest just recently by having 7 set points in the first set and 5 set points in the second set at the 2007 US Open. In a tournament previous to this, Djokovic beat Federer in a third-set tiebreaker. Most opponents show this type of fear when it comes time to win the big points. Roger Federer will be at the top of the ATP rankings for many weeks to come. He may even break the all-time majors won record held now by Pete Sampras.
